WHAT WE BELIEVE
The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God to man. The New Testament serves as the foundation of the doctrine of the Apostolic Christian Church. There is one eternal God, the Creator of all things, who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was begotten by the Holy
Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life. Performed miracles. Revealed the Kingdom of God. Is the way the truth and the life, the path that leads to God our Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ gave His life on Calvary's cross and His precious blood was shed as a ransom for all. He was buried, and He rose again the third day for our justification.
After his resurrection he showed himself 40 days, performed miracles, gave further instructions and teachings, ascended to heaven and now sits on the right hand of the Father.
Faith in Christ's redemptive work on Calvary which results in repentance is the beginning of a true Christian life. The fruits of repentance are a humble and contrite heart, prayer, godly sorrow, confession to God in the presence of man, forsaking of all sin, restitution, and a forgiving spirit. Following a testimony of faith and conversion, a covenant of
faithfulness to God is made. Water baptism is administered in the name of the Jesus, symbolically burying the old man to arise and walk in newness of life.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask. We believe in the
sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. Regeneration by baptism of the Holy Spirit is essential for personal salvation.
We believe in the blessed hope of the rapture of the Church (the Bride of Christ) at Christ's coming. And the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
